Looks like it was a very Merry Christmas at New Day this year! Of course with God in the middle...how could it not be? The kids picked out the gifts for Evan, so here is what we sent him: One pair of fire fighter light up shoes, an obnoxious laughing stuffed shark (which I'm sure his foster mom will be relieved when the batteries finally die), a matchbox car case/road set, a stuff velcro farm and a fleece blanket. The blanket is by far my favorite. It's just one of those fleece blankets, but the special part for me was that Livvy picked out one side, and Jack picked out the other side.

Here's Evans Update:
Dear Friends,
We hope this note finds you doing well, and that you enjoy reading this month's update.
Forest (Evan) is 3 Years 6 Months Old.
Evan’s foster mom wrote this update:
We have seen such a sweet spirit from Evan recently. He is becoming such a sensitive little boy! Recently, a grandmother stayed with us for a few days, and Evan was very excited to have her here! He was so polite and thoughtful. At dinner, Evan made sure that she would be served first. “Grandma first! Grandma first!” he would say. He was also eager to help his older sisters in supporting her walk. His grandmother was delighted to see his kindness and praised him for it.
Evan is a very sharp, little boy. When he watches cartoons, he loves to tell everyone who the characters are. “This is the happy sheep; this is the gray wolf.” In the morning, his foster dad listens to the weather forecast. Evan now recognizes the music introducing the forecast and will announce, “Here comes the weather forecast!” Evan is also tidy; each night before going to bed, he makes sure to collect all his toys. He is such a good boy!
If you ever have any questions, please let us know. Thank you for your continued support.
Blessings,
New Day Staff
