Double Bubble Burpa Cola....not really, but it IS fun to say!

Please tell me you all know which movie that is from. The only people who will be excused are those that shamefully don't like chocolate.

No burpa cola here, but we have been lifted up so much lately with prayers and words of encouragement it seems like we are floating!

This evening, God gave us the icing on the cake so to speak with a DOUBLE blessing. Currently we have two BIG BIG things going on in our life. The first is obviously the adoption of our sweet son, Evan. The second is just as huge, but still in the works. (More details will follow on that one.) These are two big 'burdens' if you will. Things we have been praying on for awhile now. This week we have just really been seeking guidance and encouragement from the Lord. Well, you know He never fails!

The first of the double blessing this evening was the doubling of a grant. AAC gave each of it's waiting kids a $2,000 grant. Today we received notification that it was...you guessed it, DOUBLED to $4,000! This grant is to be used in the next stage of the process (LOI), but given the circumstances with Craig's pay decrease, I did ask if it were possible, we use that now for our dossier/agency fees now due. I'll know more next week. Either way...we'll need it, but I figured it never hurts to ask, and it sure would lift the burden of getting together the fees (3390) that are presently due.

Then, without further ado....the second double blessing is this:

It's not everyday we witness the miracle of rainbow. Today God gave us two! God made rainbows as a reminder to us that He will never fail to keep His promises. (and flood the earth too!) He is faithful. I think He set those rainbows in the sky tonight as a reminder for ME that He is faithful, He owns the cattle on a thousand hills, He is all powerful, and He is all knowing...just in case I forget.



In Genesis 8:1, the Bible says, "And God remembered Noah..." One could easily put that, "And God remembered...me."
